scholarships & student funding

There are many ways to connect your social concerns with your economic needs. The Office of Public Engagement is committed to developing opportunities for students to community work through paid jobs, scholarship programs and workstudy.

Scholarships for Service provides a $1,000 scholarship for ten RISD students who complete 300 hours of community service during a calendar year. Contact Pete Hocking if you are interested in participating in this program

RISD’s Office of Finacial Aid offers opportunities for students to do off-campus work study at local community service agencies.
